Description
Do you have kids that just struggle with making and keeping friends?
You are constantly fixing little bumps in the road at recess and helping students work through minor disagreements (that they really can handle on their own).
Did you know you can actually teach kids how to make and how to work through some of those normal friend disagreements?
This Making Friends Mini Unit is a week-long unit that helps your students learn to how to make friends, how to keep those friendships strong, and how to work through disagreements.
This resource gives you everything you need to explicitly teach students how to become better friends in short, meaningful lessons your students will actually enjoy. Each day builds on the last, from teaching them how to join a game that is already in play to learning steps they need to take to keep their friendships strong.
